Ralph Lauren has become the first ever Official Outfitter of Wimbledon.
Ralph Lauren will design and dress all on-court officials umpires, ball boys and ball girls, in the new Ralph Lauren-designed uniforms.
Ralph Lauren reinterprets the officials’ clothing in a contemporary and stylish manner. The timelessness and elegance of the Championships is enhanced by the new navy blue and cream colours of the uniforms.
The ball persons' uniforms, consist of a navy polo top with sporty white striping, enlarged Polo Player logo and newly designed Ralph Lauren/Wimbledon crest on the sleeve, worn with navy shorts for the boys and with a navy skirt for the girls. In addition, both boys and girls have a navy fleece warm up suit with zipped jacket.
All the uniforms will be available for the public to buy from June 06, at Ralph Lauren London and Glasgow stores, Harrods, Selfridges and selected independent outlets, and on line from www.polo.com.www.polo.com.
To compliment the officials clothing, Ralph Lauren has also launched Polo Ralph Lauren Wimbledon which is a new Wimbledon-inspired fashion line for men, women and kids all sporting the new the newly designed Ralph Lauren/Wimbledon crest, certainly set to be the must have accessory amongst the tennis set this summer.
Polo Ralph Lauren’s partnership with Wimbledon starts with this year’s Championship.
