Brad Pitt is set to star in a futuristic adaptation of Homer's 'The Odyssey'.
The 'Burn After Reading' star - who has previously starred in 'Troy', a reworking of another Homer classic 'The Illiad' - is set to take the lead role in the updated story, which will be set in space, which will be directed by 'Mad Max' helmer George Miller.
'The Odyssey' is the story of a Trojan War soldier who takes 10 years to get home after a series of obstacles involving witches, Gods and weather delay his trip.
Brad's close friend and regular movie co-star George Clooney previously starred in 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?', another twist on the tale.
Meanwhile, the 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' star is also said to be starring in a film version of Michael Lewis' non-fiction 'Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game'.
'The Devil Wears Prada' filmmaker David Frankel is set to direct.
